Didn’t trump repeal it?
I mean any foreign assistance coming into this country is going directly in the pockets of Aliyev, so this doesnt mean much for the average person.
lol, these sanctions are just US Congress moral grandstanding. Every single president from George Bush to Biden to Trump has waived these sanctions every single year. No US president is stupid enough to antagonize an anti-Iran, West/Israel friendly country in the Caucasus.
Permanently removing these sanctions will just be a symbolic improvement in relations. Plus the US is cutting Foreign Aid, so it’s like getting access to an empty grocery store.
