The Ontario Legislature only sat for 51 days in 2025. 51 days of democracy. Doug Ford tells people who protest him to “get a job”, he tells out of work young people struggling to find work to “look harder”. Meanwhile, he only shows up to work for a fraction of what everyone else does in their day to day jobs.
I badly want Doug Ford and the PCs out of power. Hell, I’ll take them reduced to a minority government at this point. The OLP or the NDP just need to figure out where to meet Ontarians first, which Folksy Ford has mastered, and they allow him to show up for work whenever he feels like it.
Doug Ford tells the public service to come in 5 days a week and “come back to work”, right before giving himself a massive vacation he can go and spend at his monster cottage.
RTO all the public servants to 5 days a week. Goes on Christmas holiday for a few months. Cool didn’t know the holidays last months.
For God’s sake, not just the most corrupt government Ontario has ever seen but also the laziest. This has to set a record for least days sat in a calendar year.
Will Ford be in Florida this winter? It’s been cold & snowy so far, so perhaps he wants to get away from the cold weather.

Can’t stand the man, pretty sure the corruption runs deep but since the NDP barely have a pulse in Ontario and the McGinty/Wynne libs destroyed any trust in them for awhile we are stuck with this idiot. If you dig deep enough he is possibly the most corrupt of them all
Doug Ford receives an annual salary of approximately $282,000 as Premier of Ontario. This is after he gave himself a 35% raise in May, retroactive to February, 2025. I think we need legislation that requires our elected officials to be on the job at least 40h a week for a minimum of 46 weeks a year.
For fuck sake, the same guy who just forced a hundred thousand people to miss out on their kids upbringing and have to spend it on the 401 driving to an office to subsidized the Ontario real-estate mafia.
So for a guy who told people to get to work or get a job Doug Ford seems apathetic at doing his job and avoid it at all cost.
He really loves to avoid working.
