ALL Trump voters did this to us. They knew Trump was going to destroy our country yet they voted for him.

I blame the DNC for this. They knew Trump was dangerously corrupt and incompetent.

Yet they failed to excite us, or make us enthusiastic to vote. /s

But think of the ratings! Everyone is glued to the TV, asking themselves “What will trump ruin next”?

Wild how folks keep yelling ‚America First‘ while paying $1200 for the privilege. Like bro I did not sign up for a patriotism surcharge.

    5. Guys it’s a long term plan to put more capital in the bank accounts of the wealthy. Just be patient, stop complaining and the plan will work as designed. Try to be happy for the few that already have it all and America will be great again!

    6. The same people who lost their minds because eggs cost a couple bucks more under Biden are now telling us to be patient because things will get worse before they get better.

Of course they have no idea how tariffs work, they just have their blind belief that Trump’s genius will make everything right eventually.

As long as Donald Trump gives his voters permission to abuse brown people they don’t care about prices.

Ah, ye olde “affordability hoax.” Nice try far left Marxist Democrats but America is great again. just think of it as a $1200 WINNING TICKET. /s

„Just don’t buy as many toys and pencils, dummy.“

      – Trump, literally

I see people commenting on similar news stories like „well if he is gonna give us a 1500 dollar check then that is profit!“. That is how absolutely dense these people are

And, prices rarely, if ever, come back down. This shit-stain of an administration has fucked all working class people. But they believe they will stay above the fray.

    12. Pfft the Doge checks and tariff checks will cover that and then some!!! /s

I grocery shopped today..walked away because most items have become too expensive..oatmeal for example…why does that cost more..oats are grown here right? Chocolate chips..no cookies for Santa’s reindeer this year..Kind Bars..which serve as a lunch..they were up $4.00 a box…so none of those…there will only be the rich and the starving very soon..

      >Nearly $1,200 so far

Elon Musk’s net worth is $491 billion.

The United States has 340 million inhabitants and 131 million households.

      $491 billion / 131 million = $3,748

Just saying. And that’s just the unearned wealth of ONE guy.

    15. Clean-Shift-291 on

Does this include the billions we are going to pay rich farm owners because China stopped buying soybeans?

    16. IllustriousNorth338 on

Alternate title: Trump raised taxes on the average American family by $1200, so far.

The only thing that can save us is a general boycott! PEOPLE STOP SPENDING! ONLY BUY WHAT YOU NEED TO SURVIVE!

    18. I’ll bet it’s a lot more than that if you figure in compound effects.

    19. And there are no new jobs coming back. They’re simply putting small business out of business and giving big business the spoils.

    20. Justingotgame22 on

$1200 is a joke. He has done far worse things to our mental health as a collective.

    21. throwaway1601900 on

MAGA specifically voted to make things more expensive. For them, it’s the cost of killing and terrorizing brown people, and they’re more than happy to pony up.

    22. Donald Trump’s tax on working folks. The cruelty is just right for the season. 🤮

This was seen years in advance, this is not a surprise. Fuck you Republicans

This happened because 1/5th of Americans are illiterate or have trouble reading. Now there’s a department of war but no department of education.

When someone tells you they don’t want their tax dollars going to schools because they don’t have kids remind them that a stupid ignorant country will vote for stupid and ignorant leaders.

It’s almost like we were warned this may happen about a year ago…
