Nothing to see here & totally something an innocent person would do…

So, they’re basically admitting that Donald Trump has committed crimes.

Republicans are so optimistic thinking he will last long enough to be prosecuted.

The guy is getting monthly infusions of drugs (most likely Leqembi), having strokes, eats like shit, hasn’t worked out since Nixon was in office.

But…but…..like .02% of fentanyl came across the US border from the Canadian border.

And 98% of the handguns came over the border illegally from the US.

So Canada is the bad guy in this bullshit scenario.

Prosecute him anyway. Demand his arrest, revoke his diplomatic immunity and have him arrested if he lands anywhere in Europe.

So he has either done something illegal and he’s trying to hide it, or he’s about to do something blatantly illegal and wants to be sure that he not be accountable for whatever he does or says. This is turning into a surreal joke of some perverse sort.🫣

    7. Like how the US has a standing policy to invade The Hague if they ever get prodicuted for war crimes.

You can’t sanction a world rights court cause you don’t like them even though we’re not members of the recognized parties to the court! (Countries that are not part of the International Criminal Court (ICC) include the United States, China, India, and Russia. Additionally, Israel, Egypt, Iran, and several others have signed but not ratified the Rome Statute, which established the ICC.)

      So, sanctioning them does nothing!

Enjoy your retirement of flying around on Corruption Farce One when you can’t touch down anywhere.

    11. Hey Americans, how does it feel having a real life mob boss running your country?

    12. For those wanting him charged today…

      It can only happen 2 ways;

      1. for crimes committed in member states (eg a country that has signed the Rome Statute, which the USA has not). I *think* all of these crimes have happened in international waters, so not member states. Needs clarifying.
      2. the Security Council refers a non-member (eg a US citizen) to the ICC. That won’t happen, as Trump will veto it.

As for future US presidents… who knows what they will do.

To be fair that’s exactly why the US doesn’t sign onto any of this stuff. We don’t do international courts, we don’t sign climate deals, we don’t put ourselves under almost any international supervisory regimes. The reason is because might is right and, more to the point, every US President commits war crimes and otherwise breaks international law. This is not a Trump thing, honestly. All living US Presidents technically should be in jail for one thing or another.

    14. Sounds like the answer should be „sanction away, and let’s see what happens.“

    15. Trump, his enabling Cabal and the supporting nihilistic cult are odious, feckless, craven, cruel and corrupt.

    16. Let us be honest here, Trump will never see the courtroom anyway. Either he dies in office because of his declining health or the american people hang him for treason once this shitshow comes to its end.
