Do this but with the true borders not the modern ones.
Napoleon was not directly in control of the Netherlands until 1810. As the Batavian republic it was a client state of France, but still an independent entity. Napoleon’s brother (Louis) was installed as monarch from 1806 until Napoleon assumed control himself.
It makes no sense to have Napoleon conquer Italy and the Netherlands *before* France.
I can guess it’s happening because its mixing French Republic conquest (when Bonaparte was a general) with French First Empire ones
