    1. Deranged Traitor Trump doesn’t know it but Ukraine 🇺🇦 is winning. Soviets to fail and fall. Stay Strong Ukraine 🇺🇦.

That’s kind of funny, cause Europe is bigger than Russia, in every way.

„Size will win.“ Just like Trump to think something like that.

What remarkable reporting from the New York Times. These scintillating pearls of wisdom are no doubt Trump’s own ideas.

Never mind that they exactly echo Russian geostrategic doctrine, specifically. Never mind that literally no one outside of the Kremlin says these things, and yet here the very same words appear on the lips of Trump.

No, the Times has no interest in that. They are too busy reporting on the fascinating new ideas coming from the mind of „controversial billionaire“ (as they like to put it) Trump.

The thing that gets me about Trump is that in one sense, he’s not wrong. Quantity does have a quality all its own. Ukraine is significantly disadvantaged if it was just Russia vs. Ukraine. In truth, were that the case, Ukraine would have been gone years ago.

But it has never been just Russia vs. Ukraine. Ukraine has allies, who while not doing everything they might do have done a great deal to support the country for years now. Even without the US, Ukraine plus its allies is bigger than Russia and its allies on many metrics. Not only that, but Russia is just a husk of what it was. This war has almost gone on as long as World War II, when Russia faced a surprise attack from Germany and over just about the same time period (4 years) went thousands of miles from the Gates of Moscow to Berlin. Russia’s advance into Ukraine at its deepest point after 4 years is 110 miles. Operation Bagration this is not.

But somehow Trump doesn’t see that. Or probably more accurately just doesn’t think any other ally but him (yes, him personally) counts. He also doesn’t seem to see how following his own logic he could personally guarantee a Ukrainian win (size wins, right?), take the credit for it, and do a victory lap. Instead, he’d rather Russia win, and make him look weak and feckless in the process (he’s even more of an idiot than I think he is if he has it in his head that people who don’t send their tax payments to Moscow are going to thank him for abandoning Ukraine). So strange.

    9. I’ve been thinking this for a while, if a European intelligence agency finds something indicating a threat to Trump, why would they bother to do anything?
