      And it’s all on John Roberts. We have constitutional protections against this, but when a deeply corrupt Supreme Court of political activists ignores the Constitution and makes political rulings without even bothering to justify them the people have no legal recourse.

      There are no „signs“ and there is nothing to „warn“ us about. We’ve already *arrived* at authoritarianism. To argue otherwise, is delusional at this point.

      In fact, some of us have been living under some form of authoritarianism before others. They’re just casting a wider net now.

      As a USA citizen, living in the USA, I can confirm that yes this is accurate. There is an obvious push to revert the country back towards a 1910-1930s mentality, which was rather conservative by most standards. Buckle up folks, it’s going to get bumpy!

      The past year has been the most depressing experience of my life. I’ve lost all faith in human goodness, I’ve lost all hope in things ever getting better. It’s left me misanthropic and fatalistic. I’m thoroughly convinced a third world war is inevitable and will send whoever isn’t killed by it back to the Stone Age. Instead of coming together and finding ways to push back, people continue to bicker about whose fault it is that we’re here now. We have people squabbling about purity tests as our enemies gleefully pillage what’s left of our society for themselves. Everybody’s been radicalized, but nobody wants to cooperate. I’m tired, boss. I’m just so tired of humanity constantly failing to better itself and actively choosing to make the world worse off.
