    1. Nothing tells more about our booming economy than this statement. Legitimately. Our economy is being nuked by a doofus in control of everything. What a fucktwit. There is no word on this planet that describes this inadequate piece of shit.

And they’re so quick to point out that it’s alright, he isn’t a hypocrite (lol), he leads by example by not drawing a salary.

Badonka Trump: “Hey if you let me ransack your house and demolish it, I won’t even charge you!”

      MAGA: “🇷🇺That’s my president!😍”

Trump admits his economy is so bad that children cannot have toys under the Christmas tree (if the family can even afford a tree).

This is the guy who was gifted a **Free Luxury Jumbo Jet** a few months ago.

      Know your place, peasants!

However they should continue to buy MAGA hats so we know who they are.

It’s truly a gilded age for Americans. Well, the billionaires at least.

„Well, sorry kids, the Republicans told Santa not to bring any toys this year.“ That’s sure to create a whole new generation of future Republican voters.

    8. Don’t forget that Fox News also said to only give gifts to kids 3-16. Adults don’t need gifts.

He’s certainly not going without this holiday season…

Bigger ballroom with a new architect, all the golf he can waddle through, late mornings with catered McDonald’s and coke…

The republican party doesn’t give a fuck about the people.

When Trump talks about the economy, it’s about how well him and his wealthy friends are doing. Not how life is for someone earning the median wage.

    11. LOL…You think he ever actually went out and purchased a Christmas present for a kid? I doubt it. No wonder his kids are a pathetic excuse for human beings.

This will be the downfall eventually. We are mollified by stuff.

    13. independenthinkerdc on

Wow – good thing he promised (and failed) to “fix the economy”. Seems like the Biden economy was better after all. Big surprise considering all associates data showing stronger Democratic economies compared to Republican ones.

    14. The child rapist building himself a gilded ballroom is telling his supporters to learn how to ration better.

How fucking great do you feel, MAGA?

Coming from the dude is racked up over 70 million golfing on the American dime

Ideally he’ll get visited by 3 ghosts in a few weeks. Ebenezer Trump can get fucked.

    17. I know the horse is basically mush at this point but imagine if Biden or Harris told people to give up Xmas gifts due to the economy..

    18. Also, give up pencils he says.  2 per kid is enough

You can tell this guy knows about parenting kids, education, or running a household

I’ll take „things you should have said on the campaign trail in 2024“ for $500 Alex

      POS of a president

Even giving a kid a $5 toy for Christmas is better then nothing and the smile on the kid face is priceless.

    21. Laffy-Taffee on

Let me get this straight. These Republican bastards have been harping on about the war on Christmas for ages and using it as an excuse to go after people who aren’t Christian. Their leader basically says that CHILDREN DON’T DESERVE TOYS and it’s fine?! Hypocrites

      Lifted from [source](https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/12/22/1727006/–Are-there-no-prisons-And-union-workhouses-are-they-still-in-operation):

These passages from Charles Dickens „A Christmas Carol“ seem particularly relevant right now…

„At this festive season of the year, Mr Scrooge, … it is more than usually desirable that we should make some slight provision for the Poor and destitute, who suffer greatly at the present time. Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir.“

      Scrooge-„Are there no prisons?“

      „Plenty of prisons…“

Scrooge-„And the Union workhouses.“ . „Are they still in operation?“

      „Both very busy, sir…“

„Those who are badly off must go there.“

„Many can’t go there; and many would rather die.“

Scrooge- „If they would rather die,“ „they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population.“

    23. Keep this energy up for the midterms please. I want his base to be as mad as I’ve been having to deal with this asshole since he came down that stupid escalator in 2015

    24. Your kids only need two pencils, and he needs his golden ballroom. Actually a demon

    25. RVALover4Life on

It’s not about being out-of-touch. It’s about pathological hatred of the poor. That’s his family’s history. They hate poor people. They fundamentally believe that poor people are poor because of inadequacy. That’s their guiding principle. They’re evil.

      People are watching.

    26. Did he run his campaign on this? I recall seeing signs that said „Kamala : High Prices // Trump : Low Prices“

    27. Brasilionaire on

Honestly, I have little faith anything he says and does, no matter how hurtful, will make MAGA parents less gulliable.

“Baby formula is now 1000 a bottle. A great price, everyone’s saying it”

      “What, that’s insane…”

“And I put in a executive order that has Mexicans and trans people deported if they buy formula”

“Hell yeah, you want a 3rd term?”

    28. If you somehow need more evidence that the elites don’t understand what it means to be poor, this is a great example.

Poor people have already given up buying toys in most situations. They’re at the point where they’re giving up food.

Also, a basic level of entertainment is a need for children, not a luxury. There’s a reason even peasants in history had basic rag dolls and straw toys. Play is a need in order to develop the brain.

    29. I love how the „America’s Golden Age“ has, in less than a year, become „You might have to skip toys this Christmas“ which is still a far cry from the reality most of us are living which is „We can’t afford food and rent!“
