Israel and Bolivia renewed diplomatic ties after two years without relations.
Bolivia cut ties in 2023 because of the Gaza war, but the new center-right president, Rodrigo Paz, wants better relations with Israel and the West.
Foreign ministers from both countries met in Washington and signed the agreement.
Bolivia also removed the visa requirement for Israelis, and both sides plan to send ambassadors again.
The move is part of Bolivia’s shift away from its previous left-wing government, which had aligned with countries like China, Russia, and Venezuela and often criticized Israel.
