      Round and round we go. I know it’s already been explained to the Trump that Ukraine’s consitution does not allow for an election during wartime.

      There’s also the fact that no election could be safely held in Ukraine because voters would be a prime target for Russian drones.

      From what I have read, the Ukrainian constitution should still hold parliament elections, war doesn’t stop it. It would ensure legitimacy, not sure why he would be so opposed.

      For all their success at manipulating the US, do the Russians really believe that the next Ukrainian election is going to elect someone less anti-Russian.

      The Ukrainian party system is going to become what the Irish party system is, two sides of the IRA.

      If they have televised debates it’ll be „Russians: punch them in the balls, or spit on them too?“

      Funny. A man who governs a country for 26 years without free elections, who kills opponents and unilaterally alters the constitution for his own benefit, is not a problem. A man who governs during a war he didn`t ask for, with martial law in effect and where the security and impartially of elections cannot be guaranteed, is a problem.

      Only reason he wants elections is to potentially oust Zelenskyy and install a more pro-Russian candidate to accept his “peace” plan.

      Georgia is about to finish a new freeway to Russian border. New road, built in mountains. Shorter than previous by approximately 1 hour drive to its capital. Who could think of it back in 2008..2010. But now this is reality.
      One day, a new highway, or maglev, or hyperloop will take Russian to Kiev in an hour.
