people like to say that the netflix deal has no chance in closing because of the trump administration supporting paramount and the ellison’s so much, but i think people are looking at it completely wrong.
the trump administration is as corrupt and greedy as possible, even if netflix wins the deal the trump administration would be 100% just as happy to accept a sizeable bribe from netflix to keep the deal intact and trump wouldnt even bat an eye at the ellisons. he likes money above all else.
It feels like an appropriate time to say:
– Stranger Things S5 vol 1 was great
– I don’t have a Netflix subscription
If you’re down for it, look into setting up your own media server. The setup can be a pain, and it’s a much steeper initial cost than a subscription, but YOU control the data and these chucklefucks don’t get your money.
