That’s a bunch of self-loathing victim complex BS.

      Plenty of opportunities in PL

    3. If this is you ask yourself – would you want to hang around/hire/work with this person?

I wouldn’t. Being the kind of person you want to attract is a MUCH better strategy.

that being said idkn, Poles are nice folks compared to Germans at least, you should be able to find friends, it wasn’t that tough man.

wait until you’ll receive 1000 comments on why living in poland is actually an absolute opportunity of a lifetime and you’re just a victim/stupid etc. These people are invincible

I am not aware about any special Ukrainian communities in Poland tbh. We have some messenger groups, but they are more work(it or managers, or doctors) or hobby oriented. Not nationality oriented. Also Ukrainians are more of a Eastern/Post Soviet people, even if you have a “group” – it doesn’t mean they want to communicate or know you, those groups are for short questions and answers(it is bad, I dont like it tbh).

Now with language. Much easier, agree. Though I have 2 1h lessons per week for a year already, and still struggling. I sound like an alien. My problem is that I am working remotely in international company and communicate only in English. No every day practice – low progress, no magic. With kid, work and lessons I am left with 1-2 free hours daily. If they are not busy with kid activities – I am exhausted and just want to sleep(even if they are, no difference).

A tak wogóle to widząc tego posta to mi się mało uśmiecha…

No cóż, czasami prawda jest jak chili i piecze z kilku stron naraz 😀

You guys have problems making friends, too?

Always found it easier than in places like Portugal (no, it’s not like in Spain).

Yeah, Ukrainians lol, Russians the same. They all go to Russian/Ukrainian and just do their lives this way. Always hate it.

    11. „unless you’re Ukrainian“ skill issue. step up your game and stop being asocial society then lmao

The whole ‘Eastern salaries, Western prices’ thing again. The prices of some things in shops are indeed the same as in ‘the West’, and sometimes more expensive. But a lot is considerably less, especially things like rent, transport, energy. (I’m not saying those things are cheap, especially in these inflationary times, but however expensive you might feel they are, it’s even _worse_ – believe it or not – in Western European countries.)
