No refunds. No room on the liferaft. Enjoy the company you keep and the day you voted for.

Republican Women have always known. They thought being *in* on the misogyny insulated them *from* the misogyny.

      Well, well, well…

If it isn’t the consequences of my own actions coming back to bite me on the ass…

It’s wild how some people can be so blind to misogyny until it hits them personally. Better late than never, I guess?

If a pool reporter in a routine presser is able to rattle the president this much just imagine what a trained operative like Putin is able to do to him. Amazed we’re not all speaking Russian right now.

    6. I think they’ve always known. Now, being able to talk publicly about it….

they cheered while rights got stripped and now act shocked the wolves they fed are circling them too.

    8. It’s like all those women who volunteered to be wives for ISIS fighters. Derr!

    9. Next, they’ll suddenly realize they’re surrounded by racists and xenophobes.

    10. I mean, it’s hard to sympathize when they’ve been complicit for so long. But hey, at least they’re finally seeing it!

Maybe realized isn’t the right word. Maybe ‚less denial‘ would be better. They’ve been in denial of what they knew all along.

I’ve seen how MAGA and Conservative Men talk about Women and their place in society.

A blind, deaf person could’ve seen this coming.

    13. Most Republican women are Evangelical Christians, close to 99 out of 100 are.

They indoctrinated from a young age that women, particularly wives, are subordinate to men/husbands. It’s downhill from there. They embrace the misogyny at a young age.

I was going to tell them, but didn’t want to be accused of man-splaining.

    15. Men are the head of the household in Christianity, they knew it when they got the ring. This is on them, I’m an atheist.

    16. Republicans got to power and now they have to deal with the consequences of what they were asking for. Aka leopards ate my face.

They’re the same women who made fun of the dorky girl in school because it made the boys in the class laugh. Then go sad-face when other girls don’t stand up for them.

    18. Took them long enough. They were okay with it until they were on the receiving end.

The “grab them by the pussy” party is full of misogynists? Color me surprised.

They thought being white, Christian, and upper class was going to matter and be a magic shield.

Ive been wondering about that for years. Do they enjoy being treated like second class citizens at best?

    22. Something like 60% of white women voted for this. I don’t wish harm on anyone but I’m sure as hell not helping stupid save itself. Don’t stand on tracks if you don’t want to be run over by a train.

Sounds like they need to shut the fuck up and get back in the kitchen

    24. grimatonguewyrm on

Please. They know exactly who and what their party is and always has been.

    25. Symphonycomposer on

Why are there thought pieces on Republican (white) women? They voted for MAGA, and we are seeing the policies in action. End of story. The rationalizing is nauseating.

    26. Reads just like the guy who was Black and Gay while being shocked at how horrible Republicans were to him.
