I don’t think Americans love war as much as our politicians and economy love war and present war in such a way as to make Americans feel the war is still based off 1930’s version of good vs bad and well duh america is always good.

America is really difficult to go to war with. They are protected by water on either side of the country, is super big and have friendly nations that don’t want to destabilise US. Compared to so many other countries around the world.

Its easy to dissassociate when every war you’ve ever seen was on your TV or phone. If modern day Americans knew what it was like to have bombs dropped on our hospitals, schools, and homes we’d all see things very different. We’d care alot more.
