Ich wollte versuchen, mehr über den Beruf eines Datenanalysten zu lernen und habe mich selbst mit einem kleinen Projekt herausgefordert.
Ich mag Anime, deshalb dachte ich, es wäre einfach, Veröffentlichungen nach Jahr und Genre zu zeigen.
Aber während ich das Projekt durchführte, lernte ich, wie überwältigend es sein kann, zu viel anzuzeigen, und wie kleine Ergänzungen die Lesbarkeit der Grafik verbessern können.
Was die Daten betrifft, habe ich herausgefunden, dass Comedy, Action und Fantasy insgesamt die Top-3-Genres waren.

The colors are hard to differentiate. I was surprised to see „gourmet“ as the number one genre!
What’s the methodology? Did you count every genre tag so a show tagged as „action, comedy“ counts as both?
This data is very interesting, but sorry OP, it isn’t beautiful :c
Now try manga, would be interesting to see the echoes to anime premieres. Maybe then manwha, then if you have the RAM you could attempt just the Korean lightnovels. May need a cluster to try Japanese lightnovels.
I recommend showing the percents of them under their legend, and probably sorting by popularity in current year, so that way, even if you can’t tell the colours apart, you can figure out where it stands from it’s position. .
I appreciate the data OP as I am also interested in Anime and its releases, but I have several questions and feedback.
1. What are your categories based off of? A specific site’s data? Why is stuff like „Award-Winning“ a genre?
2. Some colors are a little similar. Avant Garde and Erotica have nearly the same color. So is Mystery and Sci-Fi. Sports, Supernatural, and Suspense are kind of invisible.
3. I kiiinda understand the difference between Ecchi and straight up Hentai, but where does Erotica fit into this? Where do the differences lie? Similarly, what is Action and what is Adventure? Horror and Suspense?
4. How do you deal with multi-genre stuff? Like, Supernatural/Horror/Mystery, or Boys Love/Sports, or even Ecchi/Romance/Comedy, which is fairly popular in itself.
