Teletext as a selling point is absolutely wild in retrospect
Ha ! I worked in a company that hired the blonde lad from those ads. It was a telecomms company, he got a bot of a slagging over it, but he took it well. Didnt have any option i suppose!
And nowadays you can get a 50 inch 4k smart TV for around the same price (adjusted for inflation)
Surprised they still exist in fairness. Fair play.
Its mad that all these years later Powercity stores still look the exact same. Not one single attempt to modernise the brand, uniforms or.store layouts and yet still doing grand as a business.
Its like a time capsule when walking in nowadays
