„She said that in order to incentivise Joyce’s rehabilitation and **“for the benefit and protection of society“, she would suspend the final six months of the sentence** under the condition that Joyce remain under the supervision of the Probation Service during this period.“
I think society would’ve been better served by him remaining locked up.

I’d imagine it must be pretty demotivating to a Garda Officer watching a lad with 341 previous convictions strolling about.

An average of 17 convictions per year from the age of 13. Some people are just better off behind bars for life

341, and then there’s the times he wasn’t convicted, or when he was actually half decent at being a scummer and was smart enough to not get caught.

“Dean Joyce (33) came before Dublin Circuit Criminal Court with possibly the highest number of criminal convictions ever to come before the court, defence counsel said on Monday.
„It’s the highest amount of previous convictions that I have ever had to deal with,“ Oisin Clarke BL, defending, told the court.”
Sounds like even his lawyer wasn’t arsed defending him

its getting tiring hearing of these guys. I said this once and I’ll say it again, there needs to be more public outcry. either protest at Joyce’s house or protest against this terrible system that leaves violent criminals back on the streets to be robbing attacking and abusing their spouses.
I wish our „Patriots“ were able to put in the same effort to stop those type of people

He has 100 ish road traffic offences? Geniunely how is that even possible? Are guards just following him and writing him up?
