    Orange Windwarnung für weite Teile des Landes morgen den ganzen Tag. Das Ungewöhnliche an diesem Sturm ist, dass sich die Modelle immer noch nicht über den Verlauf und die Intensität einig sind. Manche wollen einen windigen Tag haben, andere wollen uns auslöschen

      They’re probably going to announce red warnings at 9am tomorrow when we are already travelling to or at work/school. Yay.

      Due to centrifugal force, if maintaining stable speed, the motorcycle will be stable even in extreme winds. What is dangerous, slow speeds with gusts, this way we need to keep extra distance from other vehicles. 

      We don’t ride in red weather warnings, due to risk of liftoff to stratospheric zone.

      Literally this time last year, we had that terrible status red storm. Almost a year to the day.

      Schools in North Mayo have started to announce closures, I’ve heard of 4 in the last half hour.

      Ophelia seems like the worst one to my memory although that was my 16 year old brain (2017???? That long ago?)
