Fun fact. In czech is month november named listopad. Translation is leaves fall. But usually leaves fall in october.

In Ukraine we literally call November Листопад (Lystopad) „Leaves Faller“

I live in germany and they fall in november here

Southern Europe really depends on the species when we talk about the Mediterranean regions..some leaves fall in August because of the summer drought and high temps, then they have a second round that may start in October November December or few leaves may have not fallen even on January.
