    1. > “Performance is inherently vulnerable and therefore quite embarrassing and unmasculine,” Stewart said. “There’s no bravado in suggesting that you’re a mouthpiece for someone else’s ideas. It’s inherently submissive. Have you ever heard of a female actor that was method?”

      > “Brando sounds like a hero, doesn’t he? If a woman did that, it would be different,” she said. “If you have to do 50 push-ups before your close-up or refuse to say a word a certain way — I mean, Brando, [expletive], I’m not coming for him.”

      > She contiuned. “There’s a common act that happens before the acting happens on set: If they can protrude out of the vulnerability and feel like a gorilla pounding their chest before they cry on camera, it’s a little less embarrassing. It also makes it seem like a magic trick, like it is so impossible to do what you’re doing that nobody else could do it.”

When you get a job because of your parents and then think you’re somehow an expert

    3. Unfortunately the article does not give justice to the interview. It’s a really insightful conversation

Umm actually, Charlize Theron won an Oscar for playing a serial killer. For which she did some method acting 🤓

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a method actor described as anything but a douchebag.

    6. I’d love to see this talentless hag tell Clint Eastwood his entire career was “inherently unmasculine.”

    7. Have you ever heard of a no one gives a fuck and all these posts about actors feelings are fake as hell?

You know what’s “unmasculine”? Being so afraid of what other people think about you that you make your life choices based on what others expect of you.

Since when is Kristen Stewart an expert on masculinity?

There’s nothing unmasculine about acting. And good acting is about a lot more than “being a mouthpiece for other’s ideas”.

What a garbage option? Men can be vulnerable or embarrassing? She needs to meet some real men. Or just real humans full stop

    10. Bragging that putting on an act and not being oneself is a woman’s sport is not the win you think it is, Kristen.

People spend wayyyyy too much time discussing „masculinity“ these days.

It definitely isn’t Kristen Fucking Stewart, that’s for sure. Well, maybe she’s just constantly going for “pretty door.”
