Those are called banchan, they’re side dishes meant to be eaten separately that complement the meal.
Think those are just side dishes. Korean restaurants will almost never give you just an entree and will always have side dishes.

I grew up in Korea so I’m familiar with Korean food. Everything can be eaten separately. You can heat the soup and eat with the rice. The other container with chips, cabbage kimchi, broccoli, and squash are called banchan in Korea and are side dishes to augment the flavor of rice. Do not mix the banchan with the other food, they are like the side salad or chips you get along with your burger and will make everything taste worth if you mix them up. Feel free to ask any questions!
A typical eating cycle would be to eat some of the soup. Have a bite of rice with a small bit or two of banchan. Repeat until everything is eaten or you’re full. Enjoy!
The side look like regular korean side dishes (can be served warm or cold/cool)
Korean meals are usualy composed of rice, main dish(es), and a bunch of small side dishes.
Looks like kimchi . Fish cake(어묵) , the squash and mushroom are probably seasoned veggies (무침)
They can be eaten as is. You’re not expected to put them in the soup or anything( unless you want to)
It’s like mash potatoes gravy to your steak. You can just eat a cut of steak but doesn’t it taste better when you combine a piece of steak and scoop of mash+gravy?
It’s like that in Korean food. Main dish is main dish. You can eat it as is but it’s always better when combined with the side items.
Rice is bland.
Side dish is salty.
Combine rice and salty side dish = perfect
Rice is dry.
Soup is wet.
Combine rice and soup = pretty good.
Others have excellent answers, but I can totally relate. Looking at the picture, I would have totally lost if I had not been a Korean.
I’m guessing this is your first foray into Korean food. Congrats! One of the best things about Korean food is all the sides that are included in every meal. It makes it really easy to consume a lot of vegetables in your diet. I wish more countries just had a bunch of complimentary side dishes.
Btw if you wanted to know “soon” just means soft. It’s when the tofu is set but not strained like regular tofu so it’s really soft

I never heard of chicken 순두부. Is this a new thing?
No rules. You can eat everything one after another in a combo bite with the rice and soup, or whichever combination you like. Or you can just pick at each one in between bites.
Soondubu is the main dish. And the side pieces are so called banchan- you eat with rice!
You want to eat it soon, rather than later.
Soft tofu soup? Then banchan. You eat out you get sides.
Looks spicy as many other Korean dishes. Is it tasty buddy?
