      West Africa once stable is going to be an economic powerhouse. Rich in culture, amazing people. It sucks that they’re stuck in instability.

      Glad to see the attempted coup failed. Benin is a democracy, even if a young and struggling one.
      President Patrice Talon won free elections in 2016 and was reelected in 2021, and is constitutionally barred from a third term. I just hope the people of Benin get to have free and fair elections once again next year.
