glad people are finally waking up from the Trudeau years of „lets keep all our resources in the ground and not build anything.“ we need to expand our resource sectors and sell our products to other customers besides the US who have been asking for it for years. but I bet this sub will be furious with this poll and try to convince everyone that this sub reflects the will of Canadians

I expected to see more pushback from BC residents tbh. It’s a divisive issue obviously but I’d have thought Eby coming out against it could have hurt it’s popularity there.

      >A slim majority of Canadians and [British Columbians](https://www.theglobeandmail.com/topics/british-columbia/) would support building a new [oil pipeline](https://www.theglobeandmail.com/topics/pipelines/) from [Alberta](https://www.theglobeandmail.com/topics/alberta/) to the West Coast, **even if the B.C. government opposes it**, according to a new poll.

Interesting that people support doing it even if BC opposes it. It could see more support if the BC government gets on board.

It’s not the pipeline. I support it fully. I don’t support where they purpose to put it or removing the tanker ban.
