Gene needs to just shut up and concern himself with his own upcoming death

    2. Hate to tell you this, Gene, but falling down stairs kill over a thousand people a month in the US alone.

    3. Ace was 74 years old. Gene is such a twat.

Honestly, this is probably a coping mechanism. He wants to victim blame and say Ace did something wrong, and that’s why he died.  If gene admitted that, sometimes people in their 70s fall, and those falls can be fatal- then he’d be admitting he could go at any moment.

He doesn’t like that idea, so he’s assigning fault to ace, so he feels like the same thing won’t happen to him.

„He refused [advice] from people that cared about him — including yours truly — to try to change his lifestyle. In and out of bad decisions. Falling down the stairs — I’m not a doctor — doesn’t kill you. There may have been other issues, and it breaks my heart,“ Simmons, 76, told the outlet.

      Two points:

First, I actually am a doctor and people die falling down the stairs all the time. This guy died from a hemorrhagic stroke, a brain bleed, caused by falling down the stairs. Super common

Second, notice how he makes this death about him. If people had listened to ME, he says, they would’ve done better.

Overall, it’s pretty clear why Gene Simmons is such a big Trump supporter. Those two are cut from the same cloth.

    5. If this old ass man fell the distance of stairs onto his head he would also be dead. As would anyone else… he has a bizarre take on reality

    6. Gene is a shit human being, why does anyone care about his take on anything.

    7. I always had the question of what was making Frehley fall. A few weeks before this fatal fall, he had fallen and had to cancel some shows. They never explained what was making him fall. Given what Simmons is saying here, and also what I thought, he probably had some condition that was making him blackout or something, like TIA’s, mini strokes, blood pressure, or diabetic something or other that would cause him to blackout, then he would fall. So thinking of a lifetime of having issues with addiction, etc., years ago, it likely led to whatever it was that was causing him to blackout first and then fall. Whether he got sober recently or not.

Falling in and of itself and landing in such a way that you can have a brain injury leading to death, particularly for older folks, does happen. I also don’t get how the guy who just passed out behind the wheel of a car is sitting and pointing fingers at someone else saying that it has to do with other reasons after what just happened to him.

But even if all of that is true, why say it? It’s like he has to prove that he’s right. He should’ve just taken the high road and said that he was sorry to have lost one of her brothers from the band, and how sad it was that he wasn’t with them that night.

Let the man rest in peace. He was a rock legend who lived to almost the average age of an adult male in the US. Gene needs to shut up and let the family grieve without adding his idiotic comments

I slipped and fell down the stairs in my 20s when I was eating clean and working out regularly (I was sober, just wearing socks and slipped). Luckily, I didn’t hit my head, but I ended up bruised up and with a huge, painful bruise on my bum that made sitting hard. Hell, moving at all hurt for a few days. If I’d have hit my head then I might have died, let alone at 70+.

      This man is being stupid.

Gene should test that theory by throwing himself down a flight of stairs.

As you deal with the tragic loss of Ace’s life, let’s not forget about Me. Yes he made poor life choices but if he had listened to Me he could have lived. Not please let’s not focus on Me and only Me but realize if people listened to Me they could live longer.

    12. Gene Simmons has been an asshole since forever. In 2002, he did an interview with Terry Gross for NPR’s Fresh Air. He tried to bully and belittle her, and it just came across as sad and pathetic.

If anyone’s interested, here’s a link to the interview: https://youtu.be/qNxuL-uIaTo?si=mosJP9b7uOv0eOZ4

Gene was asked about touring South America with Rammstein for a documentary about the band. They wanted his opinion on Rammstein and any memories from the tour.

He made the entire interview about how if it wasn’t for Kiss Rammstein couldn’t have existed. Didn’t give anything resembling an opinion on them or their music, or an anecdote about the band.

He makes everything about how important he is. So this comes as no surprise.

    14. Many older people have died from a fall (Kurt Vonnegut, Ivana Trump, etc). And it had nothing to do with substance abuse.

“Falling down the stairs doesn’t kill you”. Bro what? People die all the time from falling down stairs. Especially older people. That’s how my grandma died at 82, not much older than Ace.

Well, I want to take a shower and enjoy fresh hot toast from a toaster…

Seriously Gene, look at the company you keep before talking about „bad decisions“.

I guess mister „I banged 7,000 skanks“ has established his expertise on bad decisions.

    18. He sounds as ignorant and self serving as Trump. Explains why he’s happy to be hanging out with the orange garbage bag.
