    1. Really?

In a UK where the vast majority’s consensus is that Brexit was a shit move?

      Shocker.

„in his lifetime“ is a curious phrase.

The moment he is out of power he has no say in it.

So he shouldn’t, he won’t be the prime minister for his lifetime. What a stupid headline.

Well to be fair he is still fairly young no one wants to lock themselves into that kind of time frame, if they had asked about rejoining in the life of this parliament or possibly the next that would be a different kettle of fish.

    5. UK should return. There is absolutely no point in staying outside the EU.

Migration is actually worse as legal EU migrants are leaving, while illegal ones are still coming, economy is in terrible shape, inflation kills the prosperity…

Absolutely irrational decision that should be cancelled (UK should rejoin on previous terms)

The UK will never rejoin unless it can get a deal like last time. The UK would have to give up the pound which will never happen.

    7. Awww poor Telegraph. You think people are going to be upset? Nope, just your readers.

    8. The Telegraph has a fairly aggressive social media campaign when it comes to Reddit, and it’s pretty shit.

The so called „son of tradesman“- aint gonna be PM for a lifetime – so it is irrelevant what he says. But joining customs union at the very least should be explored by whoever becomes PM.

He and labour wont be in for more than a few years due to the disasterous policy decisions. My biggest gripe is his active role in the Israeli genocide and a campaign against free speech. He’ll have to appear before the international criminal court in time to come

God i hope he sets rejoining back in motion

In my opinion the politicians thay advocated for leaving should either be imprisoned or atleast banned from ever being involved in poltics again

    12. I really dislike newspaper articles about someone ‘refusing to rule out’ something. Completely meaningless.

    13. Such a nothing story. Typical Telegraph. I personally refuse to rule out a huge range of possible outcomes. I refuse to rule out showering tomorrow and also winning the lottery. Two very different ranges of probabilities.

      Well, yeah.

The average age of British MPs is around 50. In a decade or so, Millennials will make up the bulk of MPs. It would be shocking if the generation that voted most heavily against Brexit wouldn’t try to undo it once they’re in power.

The issue literally defined our young adulthood. It’s not going away.

Dumb title. He isn’t going to be prime minister for the rest of his life is he! What control does he have to rejoin the EU when he isn’t prime minister anymore?

    16. Crazy_Reputation_758 on

Well to be fair, he could live to be 100, and when someone else becomes PM he won’t have anything to do with it.
