    Deutsche Brotfrage


    Also ließ ich mich dazu hinreißen, mir eines dieser Videos anzuschauen, in denen es darum geht, wie schrecklich amerikanisches Brot ist, was mich hungrig machte, also beschloss ich, Weißbrot zu googeln und dann schließlich deutsches Weißbrot zu googeln, bemerkte aber, dass nichts davon auch nur annähernd so aussieht wie das Weißbrot, das wir hier bekommen haben (Bild zum Beispiel), also dachte ich mir, ich frage mich, ob es in Deutschland möglich ist, Weißbrot zu bekommen, das wie auf dem Bild oben aussieht (Brot hat die gleiche Form, ist aber nicht gleich gemacht) oder sieht jedes Weißbrot in Deutschland einfach anders aus? In diesem Sinne: Gibt es irgendwo sonst in Europa Brot, das dem amerikanischen Weißbrot ähnelt, aber gesünder ist (was offenbar bei den meisten Lebensmitteln in Europa der Fall ist)? Seltsame Frage, aber mir ist langweilig, also dachte ich mir, ich könnte sie genauso gut stellen

      Most similar is probably ‚Toastbrot‘. But since you’re in germany I recommend trying one of our many different bread types, that aren’t basic white bread.

      Yes. Most stores do carry that American bread-style food. We call it toast bread.

      This kind of „bread“ can  be found in many supermarkets. Designed for toasts and often with American symbols. I still think it is a bit less health damaging than us version, but would not consider it as healthy.

      For a healthy broad people go to a proper shop and buy a real broad instead. Way more tasty, way more healthy.

      Yes, you can get bread similar to this. It is labeled Toastbrot or American bread.  There won’t be as many options for different types like this that you’d find in the States. There is normal white, whole wheat, and Dinkel/spelt usually.

      Hello, i worked in abakery here for awhile.

      Yess ofc there are and imo they are the tastiest of German bread)).

      Dinkel Vollkorn Brot, Schwabenkorn Brot, Feinschmecker Brot, are my Personal favourits, amillion times higher quality calories but unf they are cosiderably more expensive and in smaller portions, also the names differ alot between regions and Sometimes even between neighbor bakeries, but there is good News!

      Baking bread is super easy and ahobby i encourage anyone to try investing some time into, especially If ure interested in eating healthier. It impresses most ladies If U need Motiv;).

      You should call this anglo bread shaped or toast shaped as for Germans this is not necessarily bread shaped
