That’s uh, unfortunate. 1 in 10,000 works out to *a metric ton of people every year* even if we’re not really thinking about it.

Fissures suck and they are quite common. Not a thing most people talk about openly, though.
Some of the livestreamers I somewhat follow have reported multiple anuses appearing, so when I thought about female anatomy, it occurred to me that it wouldn’t be surprising if a route like that could exist.
I’m not sure why she would tell us this? We don’t need to know your medical history.

I think it is good that women are talking about the “gross” health issues that can be caused by pregnancy. So many women have had to suffer because people don’t want to hear about the body-horror reality of childbirth. We should all be more informed about the risks of pregnancy. Women need to know the risks, and be able to make an informed decision.

Thank god for modern medicine. This kind of thing killed women in the past, and unfortunately still does in places that don’t take women’s health and matters seriously.
It’s good to educate more people so they can understand what it’s like. Especially all the mouth breathing men who don’t understand how things like tears and fistulas occur during birth, and how they take ages to heal.
That’s awful 🙁 poor lady, I hope she got that fixed and didn’t suffer any infections
