    1. Coincidently the two empresses of Brazil in the 19th century were Austrian and Italian (Neapolitan).

Why does this get posted every month? Everybody already knows there are many Germans in Southern Brazil and Italians in the Pampas of Argentina

    4. How common is it? I’m from Argentina and have partial German ancestry. I’d say it depends on where you live.

I’d say in southern Brazil, and in Misiones and Entre Ríos, Argentina are the only places where it’s „fairly common.“

My German ancestors migrated to southern Paraguay, near Misiones, Arg. A couple of generations later I’m Argentinian, and here I’d say there are more german-argentinians precisely in Misiones and Entre Ríos.

Italians in Argentina are completely common; it hardly stands out.

S let me get this straight. The US considers Latinos underrepresented in various fields so promotes them through affirmative action while these may be Nazi descendants who fled to Argentina say. Nice.

This is why Latino should not be considered a RACE but an ethnicity.

Near Córdoba, Argentina I can across a Friulian town festival.  Keeping it real!🥳
