      Funny because I thought John Cusac was dead or retired because I haven’t seen a movie of his in over 20 years.

      Then I remembered I only watch movies that are above 4.5 / 10 on IMDB and he’s actually been in dozens of recent movies.

      I thought 1408 fucking sucked. It’s in the same era of those shitty movies like Mothman Prophecies, The Number 23, the butterfly effect, Identity, etc.

      He’s not wrong, but 1408? that was one of trendy „its all in your head movies“. he did identity which was the same kind of ending but was a smart fun movie. I’d rather see a now one of those

      A lot of horror movies do the „haha you were doomed all along“ ending.

      It would be interesting to see a journey where you deny the evil hotel fate and dig your way out with a spoon in the sequel.

      Every year there have been movies that sucked. Like „2012“ starring John Cusack.

      I genuinely love his movies and him as an actor. His 2012 was the last movie I got to see with my dad.

      And 1408 remains my favourite horror movie.

      A proper Hot Tub Time Machine sequel.

      Not the bullshit 2nd one we got… Where he is only in the extended or unrated cut very briefly.

      Cusack needs a better agent.

      Whenever I saw him in the *godawful* Amazon remake of the UK drama/mystery series Utopia, I realized his career had probably peaked for good.

      Movies don’t all suck these days, but the stuff he acts in does… It’s almost a guarantee at this point.

      If Cusack is in the cast, the movie is gonna be ass.

      1409: 2 hours of a a guy trying and failing to get some sleep because of the loud asshole in the next room before his presentation in the hotel conference hall the following morning.

      I find it hard to believe they didn’t ask him to be in the Hot Tub Time Machine sequel. Im not saying he should have done it, but they could have used him.

      High Fidelity is one of my favorite all times, so I’d probably pay to see even a crappy sequel to that. Got to get Jack Black back for that…

      Give me a sequel to high fidelity. Music industry has changed so much. It would be interesting to see
