Hallo zusammen, heute mache ich mir zum ersten Mal Sorgen, dass es tatsächlich zu einem Dritten Weltkrieg kommen könnte. Ich komme aus Deutschland und gestern hat unser Verteidigungsminister ein neues Gesetz zur Änderung unseres Wehrpflichtsystems erlassen. Das bedeutet, dass bis 2026 alle 18-jährigen Männer einen Fragebogen zu ihrer körperlichen und geistigen Gesundheit erhalten. Wenn es zu wenige Freiwillige gibt, wird es zur Pflicht. Jetzt kommt der besorgniserregende Teil: Gestern wurden Arrow-3-Raketengeschütze eingesetzt, aber in den deutschen Nachrichten findet man kaum etwas darüber. Überzeugen Sie sich selbst.

At this point the EU and Anglo sphere are in very bad spots. Their econonies are withering, their leaders are unpopular, and the societal declines are impossible to ignore. War is almost a guarentee as its the last gambit most EU leaders have to staying relevant.
That said I do not think there is reason to worry about it too much. Take care of yourself and watch out for your family, there is not much else a person can do.
Let this reassure you a bit: Russia is actually quite weak right now. The government is very good at putting on a show of strength, but they’ve burned through a huge part of their weapons and sent more than a million of their own soldiers to die. The economy is shaky and looks like it may have already passed the point of no return. At this stage, all they can really do is launch drones toward NATO countries and try to scare people.
It’s just politicians peddling fear.

Russia just has no interest in invading any NATO country, especially not Germany, neither any other EU country, apart from maybe, and this is a huge maybe, Baltic States.
They have their sphere of influence in Ukraine, due to proximity to Moscow and relatively flat lands and in Baltic states due to Kaliningrad, and it would be much simpler to go through Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, then through any other country, to have a path to Kaliningrad, and I kinda doubt it any NATO country would want to go to war with Russia due to attack on any of the Baltic states, despite them being in NATO, especially if it meant nuclear escalation.
Though I still put the percentage of Russia invading any of those states close to zero, especially if there would not be any provocation.
It is much more probable that EU will attack Russia, then Russia attacking any EU country, as most EU leaders are more and more becoming war hawks.

Why all comments arguing who’s stronger.. why can’t we make sure no war happens the best we can? Vote, protest but don’t let wars happen on both ends … idc if Russia or eu attacks or nato. All I care is we don’t go to wars or our kids do..
Well someone said that peace is just the waiting between wars and honestly I’m not even surprised. These people are so eager to destroy the world for greed and power that they won’t ever see the bigger picture.
I always thought that after WW2 humans would unite and work the differences for a better future. A war that took nearly 80 million lives should be a landmark for any civilization to stay together but no, let’s keep doing this over and over.
This time i really hope we can all go once and for all. We don’t deserve being intelligent and having this planet. We deserve to disappear into oblivion and let Earth thrive with another specie. We have the potential for genius and for being great, but all we want is this. Let this be the last time.
So I understand what you are asking, you want to know if the country that has been fighting in Ukraine for nearly a dozen years & conducted essentially a full scale invasion nearly 4 years ago (and still been unable to achieve victory, let alone conquer the claimed territory, and to listen to NATO suffered massive causaulties and equipment losses) will be ready by 2028 or even 2029 to invade Germany? No, sounds like your government is up to some hijinks to me.

No. They want a war and they need it to keep the old system in place. They gonna murder us by the millions (like before) and put more and more control instruments in place.
When I was in the military I was told 2024-2025.
Then when I got out the rumour was 2026 for china / Taiwan conflict.
Now it’s been 5 years since I got out and it’s 2028.

Fear porn. Frankly speaking, the world has been engaged in an asymmetrical WW3 scenario since 9/11. China, Russia, NATO, and the US has been fighting each other through proxies and terror groups that function like organized crime for over 24 years now.
Think about how far the US has fallen since 9/11… the young people have stopped having kids. Stopped having good jobs. Stopped owning homes. Stopped being mentally and physically healthy. Stopped enlisting. Stopped loving the ideals of the US. Stopped thinking that the US was worth saving.
Our enemies have been doing an amazing job of pressing every button to demoralize the generation that would fight the next war- the soldiers we’ll really need when the true kinetic direct war happens- ….. and now the under 35 year old population in America doesn’t even think America is worth saving, and isnt worth fighting for.
Think about that for a second. That’s why nobody talks about it- because the enemy might actually have out foxed us- they made it so our public doesn’t want to fight…. Before the real direct fight begins.
This war started a long time ago. At least 24 years.
