      Literally this sub has been begging for reduced American presence for at least 10 years. Now watch the comments talk about those American traitors for taking a couple hundred troops out. 😂

      I dislike Trump and MAGA, but the headline and article are somewhat sensationalist. Not surprising they are trying to fuel the flames of the current political climate.

      I can do better. We can do fine without any given the US behaviour.

      We shouldn’t host troops whose government suggest taking over an allied sovereign state’s territory, refuses to persecute criminal acts of its soldiers and diplomats abroad, and is frankly murdering civilians in international waters.

      Only Russia relies on bulk cannon fodder to make up for limited assets.

      We need actual equipment, ammunition, drones, fighters etc, not trench warfare.

      Well, right no US troops are no guarentee of safety, or that they would take any action according to nato rules for European benefit

      This is factually true. The United States forces in Europe are meant to be a force multiplier not the main bulwark. That is reserved for European militaries.

      Romania and Poland need to figure out what we gonna do with the US Gbi stuff. US can’t not be in Europe, while having use of our territory for their benefit. Along with all their other bases

      Yeah leave, we don’t want you here. As much as it pains me to say this as someone who grew up in Heidelberg (which back then had Patrick Henry Village, a former American Base with lots of Americans still living there) Under your president, you’re a massive security liability.

      The American troops are going over to Venezuala to steal their oil. It’s called Operation Thieving Eagle.

      It was obvious. The US always calls on others to participate in its endless wars, from Iraq to Afghanistan.

      My prediction is that Ukraine and Russia will continue fighting until Europe has armed itself sufficiently to deter Russia. American soldiers are therefore neither in danger nor necessary.

      The next major conflict will be between the US and China, and yes, then the calls for “solidarity” will come again..

      The divorce of Europe and the US is the ultimate goal of Russia and China. It’s not in our interest, although the nature of the relationship should be healthier.
