Who could have ever seen this coming?
The ICE hiring spree was always just a socialist program for the unemployable.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s race to add 10,000 Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents has become a “circus” as sloppy vetting and massive bonuses have attracted a raft of bottom-of-the-barrel recruits – with some suspected of having gang ties.
The frantic push has produced recruits that have gone on to allegedly attack civilians and sexually assault female trainees, and others who can barely read or write. One case reportedly included a 469-pound man whose own doctor had already declared him unfit for physical activity.
Vetting has been so rushed that recruits were flown to the training base in Glynco, Georgia before drug-test-results came back, only for some to test positive after they were already in training.
A DHS official said that the department has been, “bringing people in who shouldn’t be hired at all into any federal government job, definitely not one that has a badge and a gun,” adding “We’re now employing people who are not equipped to tie their own shoelaces. This whole thing is a disaster from beginning to end”.
When you end DEI and focus only on recruiting from the “right families” you reduce the quality of the new recruits.
How is this shocking? They full on recruit racists and bigots that couldn’t hold a regular job if their life depended on being pleasant to everyone. Add in the fact that they lowered the standards and you get crap recruits.
What do you mean loading your enforcement army with whatever misshapen bums are racist enough and in need of $50,000 immediately might backfire?

When they are eventually removed from their dream job and they aren’t qualified for anything else, they are going to dearly miss the days of feeling important and powerful. It will probably result in them doing very stupid and antisocial things for the rest of their lives, trying to get that feeling back. I dread what the manifestation of that will be.
Reminds me of the years long debacle when Bush II supercharged Border Patrol hiring and did away with most hiring standard to hire tens of thousands of new border agents. Then we found out years later hundreds of Cartel members had been hired on top of countless felons, people convicted of weapons, drug and abuse charges.

I’ve been job searching and there is also a FBI blitz going on now too. Imagine that. There’s also a lot of „remote“ jobs being posted too, and I’m pretty sure I seen one for a customer service center remote in india. The outsource is outsourcing.

I maintain that liberal folks who don’t have heavy social media presences should be applying for ICE en masse and doing everything they can to gum up the works from the inside, but I admit that even competent, smart folks would have a tough time screwing it up worse than they already are on their own.
