Note that the supposed epicenter of this earthquake (or nuclear explosion) was nowhere near the Nevada Test Site, which is where the US has the capability of testing nuclear weapons. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nevada_Test_Site
Dayton, NV isn’t exactly a remote location. It’s literally right down the road from Reno, Carson City, Lake Tahoe, and a bunch of other highly populated areas. Surely if a 5.9 magnitude quake occurred there (naturally or from an underground detonation) then there would be *tons* of witnesses that could confirm it.
