They really should resurrect Prussia, it was a beacon of tolerance and efficiency.

WW1 Germany that looks like a gun was some really cool borders. Though now it is like a head so that is also cool I guess

    3. Why just from 1920? More natural would be to show the whole history since 1700. Also, Austria was (is?) also „a German state“. It was actually the center of German nationalism and the driving force of „The German Union“ („Deutsches Bund“) until the lost war in 1866.

It’s wrong thou, Germany only gave up eastern Germany with the reunification, before that it was still German land under occupation

    5. And I would slap the teacher with the book… The date for the lower left picture must be 1957 or 59, before 52 Baden-Würtemberg not exists. Saarland is only since 57 or 59 part of the BRD.

Why any school book, have the lower left map, with this date, that is somehow an interesting question.

I was irrationally annoyed that the four maps weren’t framed the exact same. Very slight differences in the positioning each time.

Since theyre meant to be comparative I feel like it should have been more exact in that aspect

    8. Incorrect, Memelland was not annexed by Lithuania in 1920. It is also kinda bad to start there as borders changed a lot in the 20s. Pre ww1 would be reasonable
