ALS is a very depressing and emotional thing to witness for a loved one. Watching someone you love slowly deteriorate until they simply can’t eat or choke themselves to death is one of the worst punishments.
He should take matters into his own hands before he’s not physically able. I know someone who really regretted not making his choice while he was still able. I would make the same choice.
His performance in Brilliant Minds was devastating. I watched my dad deal with nearly the exact same thoughts and symptoms until he passed away. So much grief for what those with ALS go through.

He told the public about his battle with ALS back in April. Seeing how quickly it impacted him is heartbreaking.

I’m not sure I’ve seen many folks his age/in shape go downhill as far as he is. So sad for him and his family. As a Dad, I just…can’t imagine having to watch my kids watch me go through that.
Life is so fucking unfair.
One of my law firm partners was diagnosed with ALS this summer and seeing his rapid decline over the past six months has been devastating. Such a horrible and unfair disease. 😭
God damn. I’m sad for him and now scared for me.
