Nothing builds team synergy like sitting in a cubicle on a Microsoft Teams call with multiple co-workers who are a few cubicles away because the company turned all the conference rooms into additional cubicle farms due to not having enough space after enforcing 100% RTO

Most companies ONLY care about money. That’s what they are measured by. No matter what they say, it all boils down to that.
They would literally kill you and your whole family if they thought they’d make more by selling your organs than it would cost in legal fees.

If the workers can say no to policy changes they can say no to adding more tracking and ai. My sympathy is drying up for the poor wealthy tech workers in all sectors.

Companies like Meta need to die. It will happen.

I have had multiple opportunities to go work in maang. People have constantly told me I was crazy for turning them down. But I’m quite comfortable working from home for almost $90 an hour without ever having the possibility of going into an office because our company doesn’t physically have one. Enjoying my $1,500 mortgage because I don’t need to live near wherever work is because work has no office. And I also don’t have to commute and pay $60 dynamic tolls. And a tank of gas lasts me over a month.
