    1. PRETTY sure that Hegseth said „FAFO“. Contrary to common belief that is NOT code for , „I have a tiny penis“. So watch out Pentagon reviewers.

    2. „Your honor, my client pleads ‚whoopsie'“

„Understood, and fair enough. Case dismissed.“

    3. What would have happened if this amount of illegal BS happened under any democrat administration? Why do we have to put up with this crap?

Are there any Republican senators who are former military and won’t stand for this?

If it didn’t endanger people’s lives I would be laughing at how comically incompetent all the people are that Trump has appointed to the highest positions in our country.

    6. But but they said it wasn’t classified at the time? You’re telling me Trump people are lying!!!???

“The IG report was delivered to the Senate and House armed services and intelligence committees”

I’m guessing we’ll see another IG purge.

8 months. Investigation took 8 months into an open and shut security breach.

This is why delayed justice is the same as no justice because it allowed him to commit war crimes while under investigation for aiding the enemy with careless communication of secure Intel.

It took 4 years to procecute the j6 traitors. Maga knows their life span is literally shorter than the speed of prosecution so there can not realistically be any repercussion to war crimes or secular genocide.

In the 8 months the investigation was going on hegseth has committed hundreds of violations of military standards. If every one is interested it will by 200 years of investigations. There will need to be an entire tribunal simply to investigate the department of defense but that requires competence that is absent from the federal government.

This is the buffet of consequences that comes from over regulation that depends on competent officials. The gridlock of a broken democracy actually guarantees crime of the highest order because the crimes can be committed faster than they can be investigated.

The house is burning and we’re debating the inspection tag on the fire extinguisher because the law prevents immediate action.

It’s the exact opposite of functional.

Instead of the fascist state being required to justify itself prior to the crimes we have allowed the crimes to be committed and then be investigated. By that point the crimes are so manifold that only a functional oversight can dispatch them, but the oversight is all theoretical.

The whole government is a philosophical fantasy usurped by fascist war criminals.

    9. This fucking guy needs to go. Secretary of Defense is not a place for an incompetent jackass.

      yes. duh.

Literally any service member knew that. If my husband had done what Hegseth did, he would literally be in prison.

This guy is in charge of our military.

Get him the fuck out of there.

I mean so what if the Secretary needlessly put troops life at risk? He is “ cool” and macho.

    13. can_ichange_it_later on

Ok… So he ends up being the fall guy. Hanging the signalgate thing on his neck *from fucking ages ago*… and pushing him out ‚the door.

    14. His best move is to resign. He is only going to get into more trouble. Enough people are (finally) paying attention to lying/truth here. Lets go America!!

Am I stuck in another coma or is this news from 6 months ago? Didn’t this already happen and no one did anything?

    16. According to Republicans, he is completely unqualified to be President, correct?

    17. newphonenewaccount66 on

How the fuck did it take this long to come to a conclusion? How many opsec breaches has he committed in the meantime?

Because this administration is the most perfect people who have ever lived and incapable of doing anything wrong ever I’m sure this is just the “radical left democrats.” And if it’s not them it’s “RINOS.” And if it’s not them it’s Obama or Biden’s fault.

    21. No shit… He talked about upcoming and ongoing operations in a group chat with a news editor.

I left a single page of a confidential publication in a photocopier before walking away. It never left Radio. It was found by my Chief. We all had clearances. It was in a secure space. I was given a reduction in rate for 6 months, confinement to the ship for 3 months and 30 days of extra labor. Meanwhile, the mayo Nazi is out here providing strike package times to a reporter on an unsecured link.

    23. Then arrest him already. If he were Black, brown or immigrant he would be in prison already.

    24. No_Mastodon_7896 on

And under the current administration, so what. No consequence, no penalty no law in effect.
