Cuellar is one of the more conservative members of the Dem caucus and his district is becoming more republican though he’s still hanging on. Wonder if there’s a party switch in the works here.

Obama pardoned some non-violent small time marijuana convicts after it got legalized in most of the country. That is a reasonable use of the pardon power.

Trump bragged about bribing politicians during the 2016 debates. He doesn’t view bribery as a crime. He can’t even claim democrats are corrupt if he’s pardoning them.
Interesting that when a Democrat gets in trouble it is in the headline. When a Republican gets in trouble, the headline just says „politician“.
