He shouldn’t be the one to make these decisions, he clearly has no idea what we want.
This is a nice departure from the other social media sites shoving propaganda up everyone’s ass with algorithm-based feeds.
Still using unpaid mods. This is a bandaid. Also personalized feeds already exist as your sub feed. Forcing them on people just helps create bubbles to live in

I just wish the fucking app had the best and hot options like it does on the site. Tbh I’m so sick of seeing the same subs in my home feed. I shouldn’t have to participate in every single place I subscribe just to see all of them equally.
All I know is that whatever bullshit algorithm they’ve got going has completely destroyed my ability to be on here, which definitely isn’t a bad thing on a personal level lmao

That’s all good, but what about cleaning up all the double posts from different groups when the new is from the same article.
Personalized feeds are what made me delete FB, Instagram and, Twitter. Social media has no value if my experience isn’t actually social and I’m not seeing or experiencing what everyone else is. At that point, it’s just a propaganda machine with ads. IDK why someone wants to have a feed that no one else sees but them. It’s isolating and contributing to the loneliness epidemic.
If Reddit does this, maybe I’ll finally be able to quit social media for good. Hmmm…

It’s totally absurd how he is hated by every user and is still able to be the CEO. But then again, that’s probably the one thing that defines every big tech CEO. They are all disliked by the users of their product.
Well if we’re getting rid of things that suck, I think we the users can offer some suggestions.

I literally use the brave browser for two things. YouTube without ads and to use Reddit as an actual site and not the app so I have access to the different quick options. I suggest you guys do the same while you still can experience Reddit before it gets completely screwed over.
F that, I don’t want a personalized feed. I want r/popular to stay. Even I have found myself being an idiot thanks to all the echo chambers the „personalized feed“ algorithms forced upon us. This is why I try and frequent r/all as I’d rather at least make an effort to have a more well rounded feed and not just be hand fed what they think will drive my interaction higher.
I use popular to get a quick look at the news and see what’s going on, but yeah the algorithm does suck. Especially for the home feed.
It does suck I had to mute all those subs early on.
