Also bin ich hier auf die Weltzeituhr-Website gegangen:

    https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

    1. Scientist have already come out and said time is speeding up … by seconds if i remember

Anyways yea, but it definitely is

    2. Your experiment is flawed, you need more objective data. You alone counting “ the way I remember it passing in my childhood. 1 Mississippi, 2 mississippi, etc.” is too subjective. Get more people counting this same style and see if there is any variation between you.

I think your method is not very well, but your point stands, it indeed does seem that time is going way faster since 2019. The last 6 years flew by it’s almost unreal. It is normal that time flies by when you are older but this feels unnatural.

Maybe Covid gave us collectively brainfog so we don’t register the feeling of time as before or forget things faster. Perhaps we are too busy on our phones and internet what we are wasting time without knowing. Or something shifted in the universe which we don’t understand. Or maybe Cern did fuck up again.

Now this is the kind of schizo posting I come here for ⌚🥸 don’t fuck with the time police OP.

    5. The thing is that you’re never going to be able to prove this, or even find any evidence.

It’s going to be clear to you that if the clocks themselves have sped up (which means all of them together in the entire world – digital, mechanical, pendulum etcetera) – they are still echoing the natural time periods they came from – 24 hours in a day and night cycle, roughly 90ish of those cycles in each of the four seasons, and 4 seasons making up the whole, seasonal year.

That is the real meaning of time. Clocks and watches point to that. So, essentially nothing measures time but time itself. There is no extra check on the progression of time so it will always be impossible to prove or evidence that it changes.

      That is one approach.

The other is to say that clocks and watches are the check on the progression of time – but if you don’t want to believe the clocks and watches then you’re left scratching your head.

In a supernatural world it would be perfectly possible that every clock and watch goes faster together and slower together exactly when time speeds up or slows down.

But can you stretch to belief of that level of supernatural world?

When Eric, a man living in a cabin in the mountain who is completely detached from any society – builds for himself a traditional mechanism clock, it is suddenly on completion,  what he is actually building is, a transdimensionally networked machine which will actually progress at a speed somebody unseen decides, exactly in keeping with every other timekeeping piece around the world.

Personally I believe the world is hugely supernatural, whilst this theory, all I can say, feels so strange. Who knows?

Science itself is now well into the highly weird. The concept that putting a piece of food into a sealed, airtight box is only exclusively affected by what is in the box (excepting external conditions applied such as temperature and vibration upon) is apparently now disproven – by spooky action at a distance and the pairs of linked quantum materials large distances apart.

      Who knows?

    6. No way you can accurately count Mississippi to the second in your head… that’s for one.

Two… even more unlikely you can do it accurately while at the same time counting on your fingers.

The older you get and the more mundane and repetitive your life gets as you get older, makes the days blend because your aren’t doing new things. Try making new memories to set as markers of time in your head and it will seem to pass like it once did.

That’s why time seems to speed up as we age. Try doing new things and making new memories like when you were younger. That or go get a shitty job you hate and watch how slow the time goes every time you look at the clock during your shift. LOL

    8. Just opened that site and looked at where the clock was. Closed my eyes, counted 20 seconds out. Opened my eyes, I was exactly correct.

    9. For your next experiment, you should put bread in the toaster and count Mississipi’s until it pops. Compare it to your memories of how long toast is supposed to take. If your Mississippi number is smaller, your toaster has adapted to the new speed of time. Extra points if you can blame 5G or Covid

My 7yr old asked me recently if time is speeding up. I was confused because when I was 7, time was like a tortoise.
      Time however, is relative.
We had a couple days over Thanksgiving break that were slow as molasses, and I loved every minute. Time can certainly fly when you get into a groove where all your days are the same. When you aren’t really making fresh memories, it feels like you’re barely holding on.

    11. Educational-Idea4232 on

Every aspect of reality from the flow of time to the structure of the cosmos is filtered, interpreted and constructed entirely through the irreducible lens of the observer’s consciousness.

This internal viewpoint which constitutes the whole of our experienced world is the single inescapable certainty of existence confining all knowledge and experience until death.

Since no external validation is possible outside of this subjective realm, all knowledge collapses into the foundational truth: „I think, therefore I am.

    12. Time passes differently or is remembered differently when you are depressed. I’ve got digital and analogue timepiece and metronomes that see probably older than you and they all keep time perfectly as the day they were made, they would all need adjusted if your theory were true.

    13. Alice_D_Wonderland on

True or not, at the end of my salary I still have a lil month left… Some things never change, even if time goes twice as fast 🙁

    14. ConsistentLoooo on

AI psychosis. And some real psychosis.

Look, time is RELATIVE. Time is subjective. We are taught it is objective, and maybe measurable time is. But the experience of time is subjective and relative.

That’s what you’re feeling. Reality. The true reality that time experience is subjective.

It’s not a conspiracy. People just don’t understand it.

For instance, when you have a routine of any kind, time begins to compress due to lack of novelty. This is why old people often say time goes faster and faster — the older you get, the more you settle into a routine.

I experienced this first hand during COVID and lockdown. I’ve also noted it on long flights. The flight can seem to drag on, but in retrospect, my memory of it is basically nothing, as it’s not novel.

I spent a few years traveling the world, but it felt like 10 years due to extreme novelty.

Flow states also cause time to compress. “Time flies when you’re having fun.”

Time can be experienced “slowly” or very fast. It’s all relative.

So, please calm down, get some help and take a breath. You’re definitely right — the common view of time as something as the ultimate consistency is wrong.

But you’re definitely wrong in your conclusion. So even though you said “don’t tell me blah blah blah” — this is kind of the tell that your subconscious knows there’s some kind of relative nature to time. You’ll just have to accept that.

My advice to you: try to make time go slower with extreme novelty and see it for yourself. I’m not young and I know how to slow time down (and not by having fun or flow states, but with novelty). If you’re just counting in your head all the time, that’s really not novel at all.

My clocks fall behind too often. Might just be because we have a more precise time measurement with our phones and the internet

Time itself has sped up for the end, and this was prophesied by Jesus Christ. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CdhrUDJm4I

      Matthew 24:21

“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

      Matthew 24:22

“And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”

Get off the net dude, smell some flowers jfc.

    18. All you have to do is find some archival Olympic footage from the 50s, 60s or 70s that shows a precise clock, like for track and field or swimming and then compare the timing of the seconds.

To be honest, I believe that you are totally right about time speeding up.

    19. diabeetusboy on

When you’re 6 years old, a year is nearly 17% of your entire lived experience.

      When you’re 30, a year is less than 4%.

That’s why time (around that scale) feels ‘faster’ as you age, it’s not a psyop.

    20. Listen you can all say he’s being unscientific and using an insane and completely arbitrary but has anyone asked if he might be travelling around the earth at near light speed? Sheeple.

    21. Perceived passage of time is linked to rate of change in your immediate environment.

Did much of the same through a period of time? Your perception of it looking back will be that time moved faster, less time seems to have passed.

Did many new and exciting things during a period? Your perception of it will seem like more time has passed, time has passed slower for you during that period.

This is all in accordance with Special Relativity.

      edit: typo

Accelerated temporal experience is a sign that a soul is almost drained of loosh. You’ve been milked almost dry by archons.

    23. So counting wise I can’t agree with you, memory wise I agree as far as it feeling like 2 weeks have passed in last real week. Thanksgiving was a week ago but my internal clock and memory feel like it was 2 weeks since.

You cant count internally against measured time, measured time is always the same, your internal count will be inconsistent because that can change so drastically. My internal clock if viewing from music time perspective, is running at 110 bpm, that is my 1,2,3,4,etc.

What is your age? Reference I am in my 30’s

    24. hydrometeor18 on

What is really interesting about time, is that it’s very relative to your state of mind.

Try this experiment. Before intense exercise, (something that gets your heart rate high for 20 or more minutes, like a run or fast bike ride) listen to a song while remembering the pace and timing of the song. After exercise, listen to the same song.

You should perceive the song to sound slower, when the bpm hasn’t changed. This is what happens to me, anyway. You calculate ‘time’ based on the ‘speed of your awareness’, because it’s all relative…to you.

    25. Explicit_Tech on

Time can also go faster if your brain is slowly processing information. Maybe it’s time for an MRI, OP.

I turned 50 this yr honestly thought when I turned 40 was felt like 3 yrs ago the last 5 yrs flew by like I can’t get a handle on it. first covid then I broke my back, I was trapped inside my house for literally for 3 yrs, give or take now I make shit up to be left alone, it’s not helping. Oh well it’s winter another excuse, honestly dude I worked outside in the weather for twenty long ass yrs that’s what slows time down. I worked in the arctic, all over North America but mostly in north western Alberta, and every time I spent to much time alone, inside my homes, time flew by. So being new at being an old man Im about to say shit you’ve already heard, go outside, ten minutes, time yourself just ten minutes after supper. Then, not saying you are, but stop doing drugs and stop counting to clocks or whatever the fuck, cause man your worrying all of us cause life don’t get easier, you get tougher, and kinder, and meaner and hopefully smarter

      > What I found was that the time on the clock had 14 seconds passed (hand count) while only 10 seconds had passed by when I counted by mouth.

      > I then asked ChatGPT how much faster time is passing based on these numbers. It said that the clock time is passing by around 40% faster than what I counted. Or that my count was 74% slower than it should be.

OP how do you think ChatGPT came up with those figures? Or anything else it said after that?

    29. I just know what 60bpm feels like roughly because I’m a musician. Feels the same now as it always has. Just think of your favorite songs. Dig up an old iPod or something and if the song tempo feels the same, then your claim implies that either the song length would now be shorter or at least the elapsed clock time would be shorter than the claimed track time.

But also the fact that you think you counting “1 Mississippi” as a kid was in any way accurate time keeping is hilarious

    30. > I then asked ChatGPT how much faster time is passing based on these numbers. It said that the clock time is passing by around 40% faster than what I counted. Or that my count was 74% slower than it should be.

      Bro you cant be serious

    31. Yes, I agree absolutely. Your Missisipi example is just one of many. Time feels like a blur recently. You can’t do number of things in a day you could a while back. Even without using internet, it constantly feels like you’re trying to chase time which always runs ahead. Whenever you look at the clock it almost always shows more than you felt it would be.

It started probably around 2015 or so and since then it has been steadily increasing. You’re definitely not the only one noticing this.

Now, the thing with this is that clocks and the rest of the physical world is moving faster as well. That means that all measurement devices are moving faster as well. The only way we can detect time running faster is with our consciousness. Which, to think of it, is a kind of an indirect proof of the soul (or whatever you want to call it), that we are not just thinking biological machines, but much more than that. It could be that our soul/consiousness/spirit is not of this world and that’s the reason our inner hunch is telling us that things are not right anymore.

    32. I feel like the biggest flaw in this would be that it means recorded music would have significantly sped up since you were a child, by 40%. A song that was 60bpm would become 84 BPM. Or more drastically, 120 BPM would become 168 BPM. Do you notice any songs from your childhood being SIGNIFICANTLY faster now than they were then? Otherwise, it’s just your counting is slow.
