    1. > “Y’all I made a very bad joke,” Wong later wrote on Threads after the comment started making the rounds on social media. “As most people in hot water do, I deleted it for Damage Control but it’s out there & continues to hurt & disappoint & I’m really sorry about the hurt part. Super dumb, but I tried to follow the ‘Wrong Answers Only’ prompt with the wrongest answer. This succeeded only in that it was Super Wrong. I know nobody gets a free pass. I’m sorry if this moment tarnished any respect you may’ve had for me. & thanks if you advocate for an internet that’s safe for everybody.”

Responding to a photo of an animal with “It appears to be a black man” has to be a whole other level of stupidity. Makes you wonder what he says around others without the media present.

I don’t know what I was expecting the joke to be.

But that? That’s like, the oldest racist trope possible. There’s no wiggle room on that.

I always think about Queen Elizabeth II’s rules for when to say something, I think celebs need to follow it whenever they post something.
      1) does this need to be said?
      2) does this need to be said now?
      3) does this need to be said by me?
And only post when it fulfills all 3.
