I LOVE The Matrix. All of them. I was about 15 when the first released, so was a bit spark in my intro to philosophy. These movies absolutely changed my life for the better.
I LOVE a certain rapper – Lupe Fiasco. He’s also a bit of a geek, and has referenced The Matrix plenty of times in his music. *Roc-A-Fella Y’all* came out a couple of years ago, and features this line:
*Promise to self no longer reference the Matrix*
*And stay away from fake shit*
I am very confident this is in direct reference to the right-wingers who co-opt the messaging. Especially scum like Andrew Tate. Was quite happy to see Lupe essentially call it out.
