Not sure where this data came from, but in the county I live, there is no way Mexicans outnumber Guatemalans.

      Mexico 🤝 USA

Guatemalans are the coolest and kindest Latinos tho.

It’s always been funny to me that Cubans flee the 90 miles to Miami, and then stay put for generations. You’ve got a whole country to move around in, why stay almost exclusively in South Florida??

    4. There is latinos there aren’t Hispanic. You should count Brazilians as well

    5. Surprised it isn’t Hondurans across the board in southeast Louisiana. Baton Rouge has a ton.

There is no measurable amount of Spanish in the US?? I find that very unlikely. Hispanic should include Spain and Portugal

    7. I’m guessing that this is probably a result of economic opportunities in the coastal North East being more plentiful at that time than the Southeast, but it’s still kind of interesting to see that Puerto Ricans bypassed pretty much the entire Southeast sans Florida. Although Tbf I think the North historically got more immigrants anyway. I wonder if that will change now that the South is seeing more economic development?

    8. Massachusetts has a lot of Brazilians and Haitians. This is just Hispanic.

Fascinating to see Mexicans be the largest latino group in places they historically have not settled in like the Northeast(Maine, Pennsylvania etc.)

    10. Which is the Ecuadoran bit? It gets so dense up there. I found an ecuadoran bar in Newark (in little tijuana) so guessing there
