Im sorry if some countries are missing, but i couldn’t find its regional homicide rate 🙁
Also tell me if some of you guys would be interested in me posting the Top 200 ranking as alot of European regions are mixed with USA states.
The majority is criminals shooting other criminals.
Americans like to be the best, guess they win.
Really doing Europeans a favour, having a negative example not to follow can be just as useful as a good example to follow.
using a continuous color gradient instead of discrete colors would have been more informative.
What a dumpster fire of a country LOL
Now i understand why Trump is sucking up the Russia!
So 3 regions in Europe in the top 50, okay 🙂 and crime capital malmö has a lower homicide rate than every US state lol.
Do you think there’s a connection to guns?
Massachusetts is yellow? That’s surprising.
Also, my state is red. uh-oh
Marseille is the french PvP zone.
This change is greatly appreciated, thank you. More nuanced discussion of the problem is more productive.
Whats going on in check border areas? Meth?
Great work OP. This illustrates really well how much progress the US needs to make with respect to violent crime rates
What a great, safe country u s of a is.
That one yellow region in Poland looks shameless. Nothing is happening here.
The fuck is going on in Guyana?
I move to… actually, i just stay where i am.
I am sure the guns are going to work soon and make the US states very, very safe. They just need a few more is my guess.
What’s your source for Romania? You don’t have it listed at the bottom, and to have the whole country all one colour is a *little* surprising (the national average is indeed somewhere around 1.3).
(Counterintuitively, I’d expect it to be higher in some of the provinces than the cities…)
Why Is Corsica so high? Is it related to fights between families or because of Napoleon?
Everything i learned from that island i learned it from Asterix & Obelix, so i need more explications.
Illinois. Worse than Albania.
per capita is the fair way to go and lol and behold
Don’t show this to the reactionary „Europe is becoming unsafe“ crowd that think France and Germany and Brittain are Warzones while Eastern Europe is the safest place on earth lmfao.
Is anyone left alive in French Guyana?
for a monent I thought alaska was cyprus lol
> looks at germany

„hahaha europoors, but what about nominal gd…“

Surprised that Greece has such a discrepancy but I live in the blue area. Tf is going on in the south?
This is because the USAmerican system focuses on punitive justice, which makes marginalized people worse. Europe is infinitely based for putting rehab over punishment. Meanwhile the USA has private prisons and had the largest population of incarcerated people per capita in the world for 20 years and was only recently surpassed by their friend in El Salvador. „Land of the free“.
At the level of US homicides German cities would build full ass concrete domes out of Merkel Lego around the christmas markets
Given murders passed off as suicides, one would also have to take that into account.
Perhaps even car accidents, an emerging trend of murder being passed as an accident, not just for israel anymore.
Like that epstein accuser in australia.
More Europeans (quite a bit more) die from heat exposure during the summer than Americans from heat exposure AND gun related deaths.
The real question is, why are you all so cheap / scared of air conditioning?
Interesting, did not expect my region to come up blue.
