      >“That’s a standard thing. He’s got to sell this to Ukraine, **he’s got to sell Ukraine to Russia**,” Trump told reporters Tuesday. “That’s what a dealmaker does.”

Trump describing his own Ukraine-Russia policy perfectly.

Not surprised. Trump administration is always getting caught in shaddy dealings. This is just the tip of the iceberg

ALL Americans should be very concerned about a LOT of things regarding the current administration – sadly nothing is done

Concerned? Anybody in any position to actually make decisions is either in on it and/or taking the tactic as inspiration for whatever schemes they’re pulling on other fronts.

Is it illegal if Witkoff assumed he was talking to an ally in the eyes of Trump, one of their assets?

    6. Look, I am a strong supporter of Ukraine and I obviously hate how Trump handles Putin and Russia (what happened to peace through strength?), but even as a non-American foreigner I know that this won’t be the issue Trump and the White House needs to be afraid of.

There are countless domestic problems that Trump and his government are causing, like the rampant corruption (anyone need a pardon?), and if those don’t cause a major political crisis for the government then Ukraine, a far away country from an American perspective, won’t even make a dent.

Why? The GOP will not hold Trump accountable. SCOTUS will not hold Trump accountable. Half of our citizens don’t bother to vote ever, so there’s no accountability there. So just why should Trump be worried? Does somebody actually think the GOP is going to do something about it? That’s a laugh.

    8. Trump’s a deal maker. The deal he’s brokering is this:

      He gives Putin Ukraine.

Putin gives him mineral rights, construction contracts, access to arctic resources etc.

It’s not a peace deal, it’s a business deal between Putin and Trump. It’s purely about the vast sums of money that Trump, his family, and his backers can make exploiting Ukraine’s predicament.

      Neither care what Ukraine wants.

Make Money, Not War. Trump’s real plan for peace in Ukraine.

It is time for the US media to stop pussyfooting around. It is obvious Ukraine sovereignty is an hindrance on satisfying all Putin’s demands.

      Trump is Putin’s asset.

He has videos of Trump sexually abusing those young girls.

Why would he be concerned, when he has never faced any consequences for anything he has ever done?

    12. Why should the white house be concerned? Is the house going to do anything about this, or is this just empty words.

    13. Can’t be concerned if you’re in on it.

Besides, Susan Collins remains very concerned anyway.

Pathetic that they don’t think Trump is in on it, or are knowingly lying to the public about whether Trump knows Witkoff is up to. Either way, it sure sounds Trump is the wrong person to be in charge.

    15. Imagine going through the entire cold war, then the US govt is basically coaching Russia and republicans are maybe beginning to start thinking about being „concerned“.

Ronnie Raygun started the crack epidemic for this.

    16. Can anyone share a link to this leaked call? I’ve seen a couple references in headlines but no actual leak

    17. Diligent-Engineer428 on

Male version of Susan Collins‘ concern? They all use that word when they know they’re not going to do anything about the issue

    18. UncaringNonchalance on

The White House is compromised, and has been for months now. May as well buy stock in red paint at this point if nothing changes.

    19. CommonConundrum51 on

We have an administration of people willing to sell out America if it increases their personal wealth.

    20. Concerned about what? Are the Republicans going to hold them responsible? Will they impeach the corrupt president? Will they call Witkoff to testify about his call? Will he bother to appear if subpoenaed? This is a no-consequences regime, supported by a no-spine party. They have nothing to be concerned about.

    21. Why? It’s not like you’ll do something about it.

What you gonna do? Impeach him…?

    22. everything_is_bad on

The world is waiting for Americans to turn on each other because that’s the only way to stop this

    23. Pusfilledonut on

No one discusses the fact that some intelligence service had not only Witkoff’s side of the conversation plotting treason against the US, they had the Russian side as well. There’s someone inside the Kremlin, and to leak this they had to put that person or persons in a potentially compromised position. Vlad will kill anyone and everyone he thinks it could be, friend or foe alike…and maybe thats also part of the calculation. Regardless, the leak came from an agency that decided to risk sources because they believe the world is in danger from a US-Russia criminal alliance ran by the oligarchs and Grandpa in the WH.
