It’s almost like he’s a hypocrite who doesn’t mean what he says. I don’t know how many more examples we need to show that Trump hires people like him: serial liars who will adopt whatever „facts“ they need to justify whatever it is they want to do in the moment.
You can’t trust them, and you can’t take their words seriously. Their actions you should, 100%, but not their words
Stop giving Hoekstra free press. He is not a consequential person, has no part in policy making, and is finding out about Trump’s latest tariff moves on Twitter just like everyone else. Just ignore him. The more press he gets the higher his profile goes, and the more likely he gets a cushy Fox News commentating job after his string as a „diplomat“ is over.
