  1. > On Sunday, the Wall Street Journal urged Trump’s administration to continue ramping up the pressure on Venezuela and said it believed “deposing Maduro is in the US national interest”. Its editorial board said: “If Maduro refuses to leave, and Trump shrinks from acting to depose him, Trump and the credibility of the US will be the losers.”

Speaking of credibility, remember when the WSJ had some? That was ever such a long time ago…

Who will be next on his hit list after Maduro? Ramaphosa, Zelenskyy, Modi?

  3. Because when the USA interferes in the affairs of other nations, it always turns out well for everyone concerned, especially the poorest folks. /s

It really feels like he thinks there’s a „nobel peace prize“ season during which you say all the right stuff to get the prize, but then for the rest of the year you can go back to doing wars and stuff.

  5. After the usa invades them, the country songs and movies will be back on track.

You’re still not getting that peace price Donnie. Get over it already.

  7. I’m not a fan of Maduro by any means but what Trump is doing is illegal.

Its a shame that although Maduro should go, right now it’s spearheaded by Trump which will cause most people to be against the idea purely because they don’t like Trump.

Do people throw Trumps name around like hes the real boss because thats what gives clicks?

All these news outlets speak like Trump actually gives orders and hes not just a rotting half corpse man baby figure head for a corrupt government?

  10. Oh we doing regime change in South America again? Can’t wait to see how it pans out this time.

Republicans are just letting this happen. Lots of people are going to die. Don wants wartime dictator laws and wants to make good on his extortion threats like a mob boss.

    Counter-offer. Why doesn’t Trump…

But yeh, he really is going for a Wag the Dog moment. He doesn’t want people talking about the Epstein files. The economy is collapsing. He’s increasingly unpopular. And he wants a war to distract the populace from this.

So much for the Peace President that people were going on about.

Maduro can still remain leader of Venezuela if he takes the following descisions .

Maduro should establish a monarchy in Venezuela
And name it “ Latino Madurobia “

The ruling family will be named as

„House of El Maduro “ and bow down to American government.

Let US Oil companies do business in Venezuela. Purchase excessive American weapons ,

Purchase Aircrafts from them and don’t forget to gift one to the US President as a goodwilll gesture obviously.

Let America build Millitary bases in Venezuela.

This way Maduro and his family can forever rule Venezuela. America will never bother Maduro infact he can even eliminate journalist who will criticize him .

  14. I’m a random Australian. I doth hereby give Donald Trump an ultimatum to relinquish power in the United States. How do you like my chances?

  15. What happened to the good old days when the CIA covertly overthrew Central and South American governments?

US is doing exactly what it did in Ukraine. In Ukraine it went bad because it ignored russians interests and for this a lot of innocent people lose their lives daily. Nobody in South America is big enough to stand the US, maybe Brazil, so Trump and his billionaire friends will get rapid access to Venezuela’s natural resources

People are acting like this would be a full scale invasion. That’s so ridiculous. If anything, it would be similar to the precision strikes against Iranian nuclear sites. Perhaps some sort of seal or CIA operation on the ground. Maduro doesn’t have the resources or popular support to fight. He’ll run off to some dictator friendly shit hole with his millions in stolen funds.

Everyone saying this is a 1-3 day mission has zero clue of military action. First off Russia, Iran and Russia have already sent weapons to Venezuela and.China has warships ready to send. You also have dense jungle that will require ground forces. Well then you have Columbia and the FARC. Lastly you have Trump drafting all war plans. He has zero military knowledge. Vietnam was a small country. In 12+ years we were not successful there.
