Now add a map showing how many of these changes took the region from a slightly hot climate into „you cant walk outside during the day“

This ia one of the problema of talking about a global average of 1.5 degrees – Oceans cool slower than land, middle lattitudes heat slower than the extremes – your local experience will likely be worse.

The other side is it drives extremes – your maximum daytime temperature generally increases by more than 1.5 degrees.

Is there any particular reason as to why Europe and Western Asia are heating faster than the rest of the world?

The usual thing I hear is that the poles and landmasses are heating quicker, but Europe is clearly going faster than other landmasses at the same latitude

New „everything is getting worse and you can do nothing about it“ map has just dropped

    5. That tracks. Winters can still be dangerously cold, but they are much shorter now. The frost free season is increasing. Overnight lows are warmer than they used to be even when the Urban Heat Island is ignored.

Kind of funny that the Arab countries are speed running their own destruction. They are vulnerable to climate change more than most countries and yet they oppose any global climate action.
