    2. Seems like gradual shading would be more effective. Darkest points to the richest.

    3. In general, the richest part of each country is that part where it is easiest to trade with other nations.

      We should draw vectors for each country pointing in the direction in which they are richest, then we do vector addition with each country’s vector to find out where the one piece is.

    5. I’ve long observed how often the East side of the cities I know is the tough working class side.

      I wonder if anyone’s ever done an analysis to see if there’s any truth in it, let alone why.

      Meanwhile, there’s good reason for Eastern European countries to lean West. That’s where the lucrative trade is.

      Proximity to switzerland or flanders or copenhagen is the key. Or athens for greece.

      How exactly is this decided? The best would be by the richest region i guess, but thats definitely the system here

      Totally wrong. Poland should east. Hungary should north. Österreich should east. Romania should south

    12. Ukraine is East, especially if you include Donbas region with mines and steelworks.
