      We’ve been saying this up here in Scotland since the vote took place. (Just look at how the pound crashed the day after the vote and has never recovered)

      And the Brexit campaign was headed by that arrogant foghorn of ignorance, Nigel Farage, who now is making a career out of blaming the Remainers for the consequences. And the Brits seem to reward him for it, God help them. Have they lost their collective minds?

      no shit, The UK completely fucked themselves by cutting off their closest economic neighbors for no reason. prior to Brexit the British isles were the leading host of Commonwealth and American companies selling goods in the European market because they not only spoke English but had similar economic and political systems to those companies home markets. Ford wasn’t going to the EU through France they were going through England.

      the British people completely ignored their major role as an intermediary between the EU and English speaking countries because they still thought they were the British empire despite the empire dying a good 60-70 years ago

      Yeah we know. We always knew, but sadly not quite enough of us. It should have stayed what it was, a referendum on how society felt about the EU, not something to action. Way too many Farage shaped people foaming at the mouth.

      We’re paying for that. It sucks.

      The truth that should be admitted and told is that Brexit was a complete success, for those behind it, russia and the global far right thats trying to destroy every once of unity in the EU so they can privstize every aspect of our life no matter the cost.

      In a single political move they weakened uk, the rest of the EU, and tried their propaganda tactic were reallity doesnt matter, they just need to scare people enough with migration and the usual authoritarian talking points while offering poupulistic „solutions“ that would be a disaster once implemented

      Brexit only truly benefited Russia – it certainly didn’t strengthen either Britain or EU.

      I used to order stuff regularly from the UK. Since the Brexit its just not worth it anymore.

      Brexit has also been a complete social failure, dividing families and normalising a level of casual and entitled racism worse than it was 50 years ago.

      Farage, Johnson and Gove should have been prosecuted for the outrageous lies they told the British people, and the damage they wilfully caused for their personal gain…

      This is huge for the Telegraph. They’re one of the 4 extremely pro-Brexit titles.

      Now just the Sun, the Daily Mail and the Express to go. Though I’m not sure the latter 2 will ever admit it. Brexit is more like a religion to them.
